Complete 100% of business information

30–45 minutes. Impact: critical Effort: low

This is filling in every field Google offers on your Business Profile — hours, phone, website, services, attributes, opening date, and more. A 'complete' profile has no blank sections.

Google openly favors complete profiles: it says complete listings get significantly more views and rank higher in local results. Every blank field is both a ranking drag and a missed chance to answer a customer before they ask.

How to do it

  1. 1
    Open the 'Edit profile' panel
In the Business Profile manager (or on your listing while signed in), open the editor. Google often shows a completeness prompt — work through whatever it flags.
  2. 2
    Fill every core field
Name, primary category, address/service area, phone, website, hours. Then the often-skipped ones: opening date, accessibility attributes, payment methods, and 'from the business' details.
  3. 3
Match phone, website, and name to your site exactly
These three (your NAP — Name, Address, Phone) must match your website and other listings character-for-character. Inconsistency confuses Google and weakens ranking.
  4. 4
    Re-check after a few days
Google sometimes reverts edits or accepts public 'suggested' changes. Confirm everything stuck.

How you'll know it's done

Every available field is filled, your NAP matches your website exactly, and Google's profile-strength shows complete.
