Claim and fully verify your Google Knowledge Panel

A Google Knowledge Panel is the information box that appears on the right side of search results when someone searches your business or brand name directly — it shows your logo, description, hours, and key facts pulled from verified sources, and having one signals to Google (and every searcher) that you're a real, established entity, not just a website.

This is one of the strongest trust and legitimacy signals you can have — competitors without one look smaller and less established by comparison, purely on the strength of your search results looking more authoritative.

How to do it

   Check if you already have one

   Search your exact business name in Google — if a panel appears on the right, it may already exist unclaimed.

   Build the underlying entity signals first

   A Knowledge Panel is generated from your Wikidata entry, schema markup, and citations elsewhere — these need to exist and agree with each other before a panel can form.

   Claim it if one appears

   Google shows a "Claim this knowledge panel" link when eligible — follow the verification flow (usually via a Google Search Console-linked account or a code sent to your business).

   Keep information consistent everywhere

   Google cross-references sources — any mismatch between your site, Wikidata, and other citations delays or prevents panel formation.
